Due to a couple of our long-term members having moved away from Chelmsford in recent months, we are currently able to offer the vacancies to u3a members who might like to join us on Tuesday mornings in the Goodwin room at Boreham Village Hall between 9.30 and 12.00 midday.

The atmosphere is congenial, fuelled by endless coffee/tea and biscuits and lots of chat, (for the sixteen years that we have existed, I have always thought that we should call ourselves ‘A coffee morning with paint’) and whilst we do not have a formal instructor, we are a friendly group working in varying mediums, so there is usually someone to ask for advice if needed. In addition, we have a library of art books in our cupboard which are available for members to peruse or borrow for free.

The weekly charge for attendance is £4 per person to cover the hall charges and refreshment costs.
