Marie Neale is stepping down in February 2025 having served 4 consecutive years as u3a Secretary and we need to appoint her successor as soon as possible so they can have a chance to shadow Marie and receive a comprehensive handover.
This is an exciting opportunity for one of our members to learn more about our charity's purposes, how we are trying to achieve them, and how our policies are benefitting our members. You will be able to put forward your views and have a chance to influence decisions. You will be required to attend committee meetings (one per month on the 4th Wednesday for 2 hours).

Members of the Committee are Trustees of Chelmsford u3a.
The committee meets on the 4th Wednesday every month from 10.00 to 12.00.
Every February, Chelmsford u3a holds our Annual General Meeting, which forms part of the monthly meeting. Reports are made to members, committee members are elected, and it is one of many opportunities for members to influence the way we do things.
