We value your membership and hope you will remain a member for many years. Our Membership year renews on 1st March each year and renewal reminders are sent from late February.
Our current fees are shown below:
Class Fees: Full Membership £12 Affiliated Membership £8
If you are a Visitor member and wish to continue as such there is no annual Chelmsford u3a membership fee, but please confirm to our Membership Secretary and your relevant Interest Group Leaders that you are still a full member of another u3a and wish to remain a Visitor member.
How to renew
Renew by Bank Transfer
Our preferred method of payment is by bank transfer, although we do also accept payment by cheque, or card payment at monthly meetings.
If you are paying by bank transfer, our details are:
- Account name: U3A Chelmsford (this is a business account)
- Sort code: 08-92-99
- Account No. 67361669
- Reference: Your surname and your membership number
If you are paying by cheque, please make it payable to "U3A Chelmsford", put your
name and membership number on the reverse, and post it to the membership
secretary.
Renew Online
- If you have registered for the Beacon Members Portal, you can renew your membership online by clicking the Renew Online button.
- Please note - we use PayPal to process membership fee payments but you do not need to have a PayPal account, as all major debit and .credit cards are accepted. Just select Pay by Card when you reach the PayPal screen and then fill in the required details.
Membership Cards
The card issued to you when you join is for life. Please bring your card whenever you
attend Meetings. Should you lose your card we will charge you £3 to replace it.
