This is an opportunity to learn more about our charity’s purposes, how we are trying to achieve them and how our policies are benefitting our members.
Members of the Committee are Trustees of Chelmsford u3a and are required to attend committee meetings (one per month on the 4th Wednesday for 2 hours).
You will be able to put forward your views, have a chance to influence decisions and contribute to the running of Chelmsford u3a. It provides an opportunity to make use of skills you may already have and to learn new skills in a rewarding and shared endeavour.
Some of our Committee members including the Treasurer will be standing down at the AGM in February 2027. We are also looking for a Website Content Editor.
Elections
Every February, Chelmsford u3a holds our Annual General Meeting, which forms part of the February monthly meeting. Reports are made to members, committee members are elected, and it is one of many opportunities for members to influence the way we do things.
