The group had it’s inaugural meeting on Thursday 6^th June 2024 at Christ Church, New London Road; nineteen members including myself were at the event.

• We still have to decide on a day that is suitable to all 
• We are presently looking for another venue to hold our meetings until we are closer to final production.
• Our aim is to keep the cost down to about £3 per person per meeting.
• We are currently considering three themes for our first production: Murder Mystery, Mystery, and Comedy.
• We plan to visit Chelmsford theatre or any other local venue to watch a performance.
• No decision was made on who would be doing what.
• At the next meeting we plan to expand the themes and develop the ideas further. Once we have three completed ideas for a production going forward we will decide as a group which one to move into production. We will retain the other two for use in future performances.
• Once we have a viable performance then we will need help on writing the script and planning the performance to be aired at the Chelmsford u3a Easter members meeting 2025.
