Most of us use the internet to access learning resources. Duolingo is a favourite amongst many group members. It is web based language teaching software, which is free to use. We also use You Tube. There are a number of free teaching resources on You Tube.
Many of us started our Spanish language journey by enrolling on a beginners course run by Essex County Council on their Adult Community Learning (ACL) programme.
Our group is not suitable for complete beginners, although we do not rule out setting up a beginners group in the future if there is sufficient interest. Although, if you are completely new to the language we recommend that you also look for other courses to start your journey. A two hour session once a month would not be sufficient to gain any level of fluency if that was the only learning undertaken.
We invite any potential new members to come along to their first meeting as our guest. If the group is what you are looking for then we would be pleased to welcome you as a new member.
