The Travel Group was founded in 2014 and since that time there have been two or three trips a year, as chosen by Group Members. There are meetings of the Group once or twice a year to help to work out what members might like to do and a small Committee does what it can to turn those aspirations into reality. Holidays can and have been lead by one of the Group but more often a Group-holiday specific travel company is selected. As many as 40 members go on some trips but there are generally fewer.
After discussion with the Committee, all our holidays starting from 2027 will always be within the last two weeks of April and within the middle two weeks of October. This will give our travel group members dates to keep on their calendars. Our holidays for 2027 will be April, a UK holiday in the West Country ( Bristol ) and Romania in October. These are both in the process of getting itinerary dates and prices.
If anyone wishes to join the Travel group please let me know . There is no joining fee and you will get any announcements of forthcoming holidays.
