Fishing Group

The fishing group are still looking for new members, we presently fish at Cuton lakes, normally a Wednesday or a Thursday, weather permitting.

We meet at 7.00 am at the venue and normally fish on the match lake which has a proliferation of good size fish. Carp, Bream, Perch, Tench, Roach, Rudd and Eels.

Baits you can use Maggots, Worms, Bread, Sweet Corn, Luncheon Meat, Cheese or Boilies. There is a shop on site that sells Sweetcorn, Luncheon Meat or Boilies.

Things Required

You will need to buy a day licence from the government environment website costs £6-60 and at the venue pay £7-50/rod day ticket.

You will need to wear clothing to suit the time of year and water proof boots or shoes, and something to sit on.

If you do not own any fishing equipment and would like to come fishing I can provide enough stuff for 4 people, so you do not need to purchase anything except baits, licence and day ticket.

I normally cook breakfast and lunch and can provide hot tea and coffee as well. I have enough crockery and cutlery to cover 4 people.
